【Macao】Popular Food Delivery & Takeout Apps in Macao.2025

Hi! Are you going to Macao for business or studies? Here are 3 popular food delivery and takeout apps local people use:

  • mFood
  • Aomi
  • TIKBEE

All of them are available in English (as of Feb 2025). mFood’s English version is the easiest to understand.

mFood

mFood was offered by a major company in Macau, which also offers MPay (the largest electronic payment service) and MacauPass (the only electronic public transport system before smartphone payment came out).

mfood accepts most major payment methods, e.g., MPay, BOC Pay, credit cards, and Alipay.

This app is my favorite since it came out in around 2020. It was not the first food delivery app in the local market though (upcoming next). It was the first app to offer free delivery for selected restaurants.

Coupons are available from mFood and restaurants. Make sure you get and apply the coupons before payment.

Aomi

Aomi was the first food delivery and takeout app in Macao. It shares many features with apps of similar nature in Mainland China, where the market grew first.

Aomi accepts most major payment methods, e.g., MPay, BOC Pay, credit cards, and Alipay.

In its first few years, it offered some great deals for dine-in. This strategy created much discussion among local people and the app service grew rapidly. It had dominated the market for several years before mFood came out.

Today, it is still a major app in the market. Ever since it came out, it entirely changed the restaurant business and customers’ habits of food delivery and takeout.

This app is feature-rich and is only available in Chinese. If you are a first-time user, you may spend some time to figure it out. But once you get familiar with it, the whole ordering process is actually similar to mFood.

TIKBEE

TIKBEE, created by the local tech supermarket Sunsco, may have a smaller selection compared to its competitors, but it often provides more significant discounts.
